Where fireworks meet microwave parts meet chemistry meet car salvage. The most dangerous and spectacular crossover builds in the repo.

This is where categories collide. A microwave oven transformer's capacitor bank charges a coil gun that launches firework shells. A car ignition coil sparks a self-oxidizing fuel that burns underwater. Luminol fog fills a room and glows blue under UV. Thermite hits 4,000 degrees while cold sparks shower out at safe-to-touch temperatures right next to it. Calcium carbide makes acetylene from rocks and water, and a spark plug fires it on a timer.

These builds borrow parts, chemistry, and techniques from across every other category. They require genuine understanding of what you're working with — not just following steps. If you're new, go build some foundational projects in Pyro & Chemistry, Fire & Plasma, Junkyard Auto, and Mad Scientist first. These builds assume you've already earned your scars.

Suggested Build Order

Start with simple chemistry spectacles, progress toward extreme electromagnetic builds:

  1. #228 — Chemical-Trigger Color Bombs — Easiest entry. Simple chemical reactions.
  2. #278 — Thermite Sparkler Bombs — Quick spectacle. Minimal complexity.
  3. #276 — Chemical Smoke Screen Machine — Low brain melt. Adds mechanical elements.
  4. #230 — Thermite Cold Spark Fountain — Reliable chemistry fundamentals.
  5. #231 — Ignition Coil KNO3 Flame Jet — First electrical + chemical hybrid.
  6. #232 — Carbide Spark Plug Repeater — Timing and gas generation precision.
  7. #233 — Luminol Fog Murder Mystery — Multi-stage theatrical chemistry.
  8. #227 — MOT-Ignited Firework Mortar — High-voltage ignition systems.
  9. #234 — Microwave Firework Star Mine — Complex component integration.
  10. #275 — Capacitor Bank Plasma Igniter — Serious electrical systems.
  11. #279 — Microwave Chemical Reactor — Complex process control.
  12. #229 — Electromagnetic Firework Launcher — Advanced EM engineering.
  13. #277 — Electromagnetic Pulse Cannon — Extreme difficulty. The endgame.
